History

The Beginning

Jerry1 001Originally opened by Jerry Hubbard in 1972, Hubbard’s German Auto was born through strong workmanship and a deep passion for the racetrack.  The shop built a strong relationship with the community and Jerry poured much of his character into the business.  Becoming ever more successful, the shop was moved to its current location in 1984.  Now only a single block off Broadway, it is in a much more convenient and accessible location.

Today

Only a few years before Jerry’s sad and tragic death, John Bennett purchased the business from him. Fast forwarding to the present day, the shop continues on the legacy of it’s former owner, still holding the same honest feel it did over four decades ago. Although the faces and cars have changed, the spirit of the shop remains untouched. We swear to always be as open and honest as possible to create a strong trust between mechanic and customer.
